These booking general terms and conditions (Booking Terms) apply to all rental agreements for accommodation, including other services and deliveries, made between Hotelier (as defined below) and Guests (as defined below).
1. Definitions
In these Booking Terms, unless the context otherwise requires, the following expressions have the following meanings:
“Arrival Date” means the date on which the Guest(s)’ stay at the accommodation is due to commence;
“Booking” means the reservation by the Customer of accommodation and any other products and services detailed in the Booking which is accepted by Gargaretta Suites
“Booking Details” means the details of the Booking including the number of Guests, the number of rooms required, the Arrival Date and duration of the Guest(s)’ stay at the Hotelier and any other products and/or services to be included in the Booking;
“Booking Engine” means the online booking facility provided by a third party other than Gargaretta Suites (for instance Air-BnB);
“Charges” means the charges payable by the Customer in connection with the Booking;
“Customer” means the person who makes the Booking;
“Guest” means the Customer and/or any other people included in a Booking;
“Hotelier” means an accommodation operated by Gargaretta Suites, the location of which is specified in the Booking; and
“Website” means https://wildflowersuites.gr/
2. Bookings – Cancellations
1. Customers can make a Booking:
i. through the Booking Engine via the Website; or
ii. by contacting Gargaretta Suites’s staff at the Hotelier.
2. Making a Booking signifies the Customer’s intent to enter into an accommodation agreement. Upon availability, Gargaretta Suites will send a booking confirmation, finalizing the agreement.
3. When making a Booking, Customers will be required to provide identification information, including, but not limited to, their name, contact telephone number, and email address.
4. Offers for available apartments are subject to change. Gargaretta Suites reserves the right to refuse an accommodation agreement at its discretion.
5. Gargaretta Suites will use its reasonable endeavours to accommodate any request from the Customer to change the Booking Details. Any request to change the dates or length of stay, increase the number of Guests, change room type or add products and/or services will be subject to availability and, where the cost for such amended Booking would be higher than the original Booking, the Customer shall pay Gargaretta Suites’s standard rates from time to time for the amended Booking. Gargaretta Suites shall not be obliged to refund any part of the Charges for the original Booking if the cost of the amended Booking is less than the original Booking.
6. Specific apartments are not guaranteed for use. Gargaretta Suites may impose restrictions such as minimum stays or booking guarantees.
7. For multi-day reservations, no-shows will result in the cancellation of subsequent nights without compensation.
8. Customer may request a cancellation within the specified period as per below, otherwise, the agreed remuneration will be charged:
A. For Long stays (29Days – 11Months)
i. Fully refundable, if cancellation is requested at least 30 calendar days before the check-in date
ii. Non-refundable, if cancellation is requested less than 30 calendar days before the check-in date
B. For Short stays (1Day – 28Days)
i. Fully refundable, if cancellation is requested at least 10 calendar days before the check-in date
ii. Non-refundable, if cancellation is requested less than 10 calendar days before the check-in date
9. No-shows will be subject to charges.
10. Gargaretta Suites reserves the right to cancel any Booking if:
A. the payment by the Customer has not been made or is not valid;
B. the cancellation period has expired;
C. a Guest re-sells or transfers all or any part of a Booking or if Gargaretta Suites has reasonable grounds to suspect that a Guest is in breach of the above.
3. Fees, Payments & Billing
1. Unless otherwise agreed by Gargaretta Suites, the Charges shown at booking cover the provision of accommodation at the booked Hotelier and include Valued Added and fees. Local taxes may not be included and the Guest may incur additional charges for services such as food and beverage (amongst other, the “Additional Charges”).
2. Bookings will be subject to the Customer making payment of the Charges in full in advance or providing valid debit card or credit card details from which the Charges can be taken at the relevant time in accordance with the Booking Terms of the Booking.
3. Price adjustments may occur if tax rates or levies change, especially if it’s more than four months after booking.
4. If the Charges do not include city tax (if any), it must be paid by the Customer or Guests at the relevant property either on arrival or when payment for the Booking is made.
5. Any Additional Charges must be paid either as they are incurred or, at Gargaretta Suites’s option, at check out.
6. Set-off is not permitted except for undisputed or legally established claims.
7. Accepted payment methods include credit and debit cards (MasterCard, Visa Card, American Express). Cash payments are not accepted.
8. The Customer is responsible for any bank charges and foreign exchange fees in relation to payment of the Charges or the Additional Charges. In the event of a chargeback, Gargaretta Suites reserves the right to re-charge the Customer for the costs it incurs.
9. Where Gargaretta Suites makes a refund to the Customer, it shall use the same payment method as used for the original payment.
10. Invoices will be provided electronically upon request.
4. Check in – Check out
1. Unless otherwise specified in the Booking Details, check-in is from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival, and check-out is until 11:00 AM on the day of departure.
2. Earlier check-in times may be possible by prior arrangement with Gargaretta Suites and subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
3. Later check-out times may be possible by prior arrangement with Gargaretta Suites, subject to availability, with an additional charge.
4. Keys and access cards must be returned at check-out. Lost keys incur a fee.
5. Accommodation Rules and Policies
1. Reselling or subletting Bookings or booked apartments is prohibited.
2. Valid photo identification, such as a Driver’s Licence, Passport, or National ID card, is required for all Guests at check-in.
3. Commercial activities such as prostitution are strictly prohibited.
4. Smoking is not permitted inside the Hotelier and common areas. Gargaretta Suites reserves the right to charge a fee of at least €250 or a higher amount where Gargaretta Suites suffers loss as a result of a Guest’s actions.
5. Parties are not allowed in the apartments. Gargaretta Suites reserves the right to charge a fee of at least €250 or a higher amount where Gargaretta Suites suffers loss as a result of a Guest’s actions.
6. Pets are not permitted. Service animals for disabled Guests are accepted.
7. Guests must care for the apartment and its amenities and report any issues promptly. The Customer will be responsible for any loss, damage or extra cleaning at the Hotelier caused by the Guests or visitor of any Guest. Gargaretta Suites reserves the right to charge the Guest or Customer (at Gargaretta Suites’s election) for Gargaretta Suites’s reasonable costs of repairing, cleaning or replacing any property of Gargaretta Suites which is damaged, soiled or lost by a Guest or where a room is left in a condition which requires extra cleaning.
8. Guests must conduct themselves reasonably and responsibly at the Hotelier and must not act in any way that may disturb other guests. Failure to adhere to this requirement may result in Guests being asked to leave the Hotelier, in which event all Charges and Additional Charges shall become immediately payable by the Guest or Customer (at Gargaretta Suites’s election).
9. Guests are provided with internet access. Misuse of the internet may result in the Guests’ or the Customer’s liability.
6. Liability
1. Gargaretta Suites is liable only for damages resulting from its actions or negligence.
2. Gargaretta Suites shall not be liable, in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or in any other way, for a loss or damage suffered or incurred by any Guest arising out of or in connection with the use of the Hotelier or any other matter under this Agreement.
3. Gargaretta Suites will endeavour to address disruptions or defects promptly.
4. Guests are responsible for their belongings. Claims must be reported immediately.
7. Personal Data
1. Use of personal data is subject to our Privacy Policy.
8. Other general terms
1. Gargaretta Suites may assign its rights and obligations under the Booking and these Booking Terms to another entity without notice to, or consent from, the Customer.
2. Gargaretta Suites may, from time to time, change these Booking Terms without notice. However, the version of these Booking Terms in force at the time of the Booking will continue to apply. Customers are advised to check the Website for the latest version of these Booking Terms before making a Booking.
3. If any provision of these Booking Terms is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part the validity of the other provisions of these Booking Terms and the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected.
4. These Booking Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Greek Law, and the courts of Athens shall have exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute arising under or in connection with these Booking Terms and the Bookings.
5. A person who is not a Guest shall not have any rights in connection with a Booking.
